Chevrolet - Avalanche

Chevrolet, Yeah, it’s a famous company known for their super designed cars. And our today’s topic is going to be about a product of this company. Chevy Avalanche is the industry’s most flexible utility vehicle, combining the passenger-comfort attributes of an SUV with the cargo capability of a truck. It is based on GM’s full-size SUV platform, which features segment-leading fuel economy and flex-fuel capability; a sharp, precise driving feel, interior refinement and notable quietness…
Avalanche is also designed with safety in mind. It delivers a 360-degree safety system of occupant protection and crash-avoidance technology with features such as standard StabiliTrak stability control system with new rollover mitigation technology. For 2008, Avalanche’s list of standard safety features is enhanced with the inclusion of head curtain side impact air bags on all models. Previously, they were optional on some models.
The 2008 Avalanche is available in LS, LT and LTZ models, with 2WD and 4WD. The standard powertrain includes an efficient 5.3L V-8 with Active Fuel Management™ technology that seamlessly switches from eight-cylinder to four-cylinder operation to save fuel. A 6.0L V-8 engine with Active Fuel Management and variable valve timing (VVT) is also available, giving Avalanche customers more choices for selecting a vehicle that has the capability they demand. Several of Avalanche’s engines are FlexFuel-capable, meaning they can run on E85 ethanol-based fuel.
Thus once again Chevy had shown their power through Chevy Avalanche…

Citroen - 2CV

Hi guys and girls, i am very much happy to give you people, some various info about different car companies and its product. And today also a feast is waiting for you. It is about Citroen 2CV. The original Citroen 2CV was the Ford Model T and the Volkswagen Beetle of France. In it’s over forty years of continuous production, it put France on wheels and stuck around long enough to be an icon for the starving artist. The frugal car was nothing more than basic. The diminutive two-cylinder engine (ranging from 375 cc to 602 cc.) never made more than 29 horsepower in its lifetime. It is the kind of icon that is loved by designers, but ignored by drivers.

With the advent of technology, classic cars can be turned into concept cars on a computer that’s powered with modern rendering software. And that’s exactly what car designer David Portela has done. He has taken original 2CV and modified every aspect without cutting out the trademarks.

While this kind of ’modernizing’ has been witnessed before, the number of designers in the Auto industry have multiplied. Blogs are able to project the talent of aspiring designers, like Portela, who may be the next to bring modern interpretations of classics, like the 500 and Mini, back to life.
Thus our topic about Citroen 2CV has got over with this. See you in my next post. Until then it's bye from Monterines.

Bugatti - Veyron 16.4

Hi friends, i think this is my second post on Bugatti's product. It is going to be about a manly car. The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 was going to be fast - 0-100 km/h in 2.5 seconds, 200 km/h in 7.3, 300 km/h in 16.7 and on to its top speed of 407 km in just under a minute!

There’s even a power gauge on the instrument panel that shows how much of the 1001 horsepower you are actually using. It’s particularly amusing that although the gauge tracks power usage in 100 horsepower increments it ends at 1001. We were often only tapping 300 to 400 hp and still passing everything in sight, but dropping the car into second gear via the steering-wheel mounted paddles or shifter and flattening the accelerator causes the power meter to flip to 700-800 hp or so producing a rush of speed unlike anything we have experienced before. The shove in your back, which incidentally is but inches from the massive 8-litre, 16-cylinder, four-turbo engine, is akin to the sensation of being in a jumbo jet at take off. The scenery literally blurs past and the next corner approaches like a cinematic car chase on fast-forward.

In the process of tweaking the shape and design of the Veyron, Bugatti has also managed to provide the car with a much more powerful engine than it originally intended. Early specifications for the Veyron’s mammoth 8.0-liter W16 listed the vehicle’s top speed at a whopping 220 miles per hour. As of May, though, Bugatti claimed that it had squeezed nearly 30 additional mph out of the engine, raising its top speed within a hair’s breadth of 250 mph.

Not content to rest on the laurels of a four-figure output for this engine, Bugatti has seen fit to make the Veyron yield 1,001 horsepower.

Thus,i think that now you have understood the powers of cars... Keep in touch guys... More to come.

Peugeot - 4007

This is my first post about a product of Peugeot . It is a famous company known for production of good stylish and quality cars and today our topic is about a product of this company called Peugeot 4007. The 4007 is loyal to Peugeot’s values, style value, dynamic, aesthetically pleasing and innovative. Straight from Peugeot’s design centre, the racy and feline front design of the 4007, with its tapered headlights and its open front grill are the first signs that it belongs to the marque. The chrome structure that makes up this large air inlet strengthens the car’s elegance and its natural air of nobility.

Framing the air entry at the bottom of the bumper, the fog lights in a chrome surround, give a suggestion of refinement and strength. The aerodynamic design of the roof gives an elegant profile which is complimented by a contemporary rear. This is enlightened by a piece of brushed aluminium in the original design which emphasises the translucent jewel-like lights whilst showing off the marque’s chrome emblem above the number plate.

The generous size of the wheel arches and the ground clearance contribute to give the 4007 a general impression of controlled power and the promise of a vehicle dedicated to drivers no matter what the driving conditions. The 4007’s interior has also benefited from Peugeot’s specialised designers. It is dynamic and functional and offers lots of storage.

The dashboard material and design as well as the door trim have been reworked to satisfy European customers’ expectations.

Thus it surely fulfills all the needs of the customer with its stylish look and manly body. Good luck Peugeot.

Mercury - Mariner Hybrid

Hey now our topic is going to be about Mercury’s famous 2008 release, Mariner Hybrid. Mercury unveiled the 2008 Mercury Mariner Hybrid, a stylish, upscale small sport-utility vehicle with nimble handling and impressive performance, along with ample cargo and towing capacity. It’s an environmentally conscious SUV with remarkable fuel efficiency, and also meets the cleanest emissions rating achievable by a fossil-fuel vehicle (California’s Advanced Technology Partial Zero Emissions Vehicle standard). For 2008, Mercury Mariner Hybrid adds higher levels of style and refinement with new interior and exterior designs, improved fuel economy and a new front-wheel drive option.Mariner Hybrid engineers also made revisions to software in the control system to improve transparency, or the transition between gasoline and electric operation in the 2008 model. The transition from all-electric to gasoline power to a combination of the two is now even more seamless and virtually imperceptible to the driver. The four-wheel-disc regenerative brakes also have been retuned to provide better feel. I hope you enjoyed the topic… Have a nice day.

Ferrari - 360 GTC

Hi friends, here we are going to see about a hot model of Ferrari… Now its going to be about Ferrari 360 GTC. This model, with a dry weight of 1100 kilos, was developed by the Corse Clienti Department in Maranello, in collaboration with Michelotto Automobili to compete in the N-GT class. It makes use of recent evolutions successfully race tested on the 360 GT, with a sequential six speed gearchange and a further improved Magneti Marelli electronics package. The aerodynamics are substantially different to the 360 GT, given that the Ferrari 360 GTC has been newly homologated by FIA/ACO from the Challenge Stradale, taking up from its basic elements: front bumper, side skirts, engine cover and double rear end. Wind tunnel research has led to a new system for the rear wing, with a notable improvement in vertical downforce. The performance of the 90 degree V8 3586.2cc engine has been improved in terms of consumption and power, putting out 445 horsepower at 8750 rpm. Thus this baby will surely pluck your eyes…
